Statement of Faith
1. Concerning God: We believe in the Triune God, composed of: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
2. Concerning Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ to be the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, sinless, and sent to be a substitute for man in paying the penalty for sin by His death upon the cross. We believe, also, in His bodily resurrection signifying His power over sin and death; His bodily ascension into Heaven and His bodily return to earth at His second coming.
3. Concerning the Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit of God indwells every true believer, teaching, guiding, comforting and empowering.
4. Concerning the Word of God: We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
5. Concerning man: We believe that man is separated from God by his sinful nature, but by absolute trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Saviour from sin, he may be reconciled to God.
6. Concerning Christian Conduct: We believe that a person who is in right standing before God, through faith in Jesus Christ, must be an example, and so live that God may be glorified. We believe that he should produce the fruits of the Spirit in the Christian life, which are: Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Gentleness, Faith, Meekness and Temperance.
